Conservative or Christian?

 We should know the difference by now.  

Not everything conservative is Christian... I mean, Biblically Christian.

Apply discernment brethren.

My momma used to say, "The Devil ain't so smart because he's so evil but because he's so old".... (in Spanish of coarse).

Sabbath (Let's talk)

 

27 All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.

and let's revisit the richness of God's Word pertaining to the sabbath.

There are those who think sabbath and immediately think "Saturday"... and yet there's so, so much more to the sabbath than simply a day of the week.

"He again fixes a certain day, “Today,” saying through David after so long a time just as has been said before,

“TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE,

DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS.”

Is the Bible Corrupted?

 

Is the Bible corrupted like many in the world claim?  The answer is NO.

The claim of corruption fails so bad, it fails on various fronts.  In fact, it's so unfounded and ungrounded, it stands completely against any evidence to the level of being unreasonable.

Christian Nationalism

 Christian Nationalism.  Christian we gotta talk about it... why?

Because whether you think you're for it or against it, regardless, there's a huge segment of society who will inevitably align you with a negative characterization of it whether you like it or not!

And staying silent on the matter won't get us out of having to confront the issue.

The Lord did say, "You're either for me or against me"... Pick a side.   But you already have brethren, therefore, let's walk and talk through this to prepare our minds to confront the issue shall we?  :)

Bible Study: Ephesians 4

 

The richness of this section of scripture is amazing!

I wanted to respond on how it's been misused to include people who are not in the faith.

Also, I want to go over the vastness of the greatness of what Paul is speaking about with regard

to "unity" but doing so in light of God's mysterious plan to unite HEAVEN AND EARTH !!

Evangelism: What it is and What does it looks like

 The culture and the rise of so many denominations has clouded what Evangelism is and how it is to be applied.  Yet, the best we can do (among believers) is to LOOK to THE BIBLE to define what it is, and how to apply it.

That seems easy enough ... doesn't it??

Unfortunately, not always.

Often times, too many people want to perceive what they think evangelism is and what it looks like by what culture has turned it into, and what their feelings or traditions have maintained.

But God forbid we look to any of that in order to define truth.

Evangelism is the sharing or spreading or heralding or influencing of THE GOOD NEWS OF THE GOSPEL.  

The message of eternal life, redemption, the Kingdom of God, forgiveness from God, etc., etc.

But how is it applied?

In my experience, the ones who criticize the most are the ones who do evangelism the least.   

It becomes an issue of METHODOLOGY but who's to say, one person's method is better than another person's method? ...Regardless, the Good news needs to get out.

Is evangelism letting people see your light and being salt?

Is evangelism heralding the good news of salvation in the public square?

Is it baking cookies for your next door neighbors?

It's all of the above and a whole lot more.  

How can we not give to others the tremendous gift of what God has so freely given to us? ... 

It's eternity and it's not for sale.. It's free!

Hand it down to as many neighbors as you can TODAY in what ever way.
