This will demonstrate how inconsistent legalism and sinless perfectionism is not only historically wrong but how this bad understanding of scripture will continue to degrade other orthodox Christian doctrines. 

 In the first video, this brother states that "WORKS is the SALVATION".  which is complete heresy...  

On the 2nd video, he'll change his position on sinless perfection claiming a believer in Christ CAN "POSSIBLY" SIN after maturity in Christ.  If this is the case, it's no longer sinless perfectionism.

Video 3 demonstrates further how bad doctrine is progressive!  You go from adding rocks to our road to causing an avalanche that can end up flattening us and destroying us unless we humble ourselves to the truth of The Word of God!

Video 4 demonstrates how having a WORKS RIGHTEOUSNESS gospel does absolutely nothing to convince the world of the truth of God (in an apologetic sense).   The message of the cross and regeneration is FOOLISHNESS to those who are perishing (1 Corinthians 1:10).

Let's continue praying to The Lord for the humility to recognize when we're wrong so that we can accept our blind spots wherever we have them in order to continue growing in God's truth.

Sinless perfection is the theological position that a Christian can become SINLESS at some point in their walk with God. 

Some falsely believe that this "perfection" can happen as soon as they're saved (born again). 

People who believe this completely distort the doctrines of Justification, Sanctification and Glorification.

They completely misread the exhortation given by the Apostles to the early church to "walk in a manner worthy of your calling".  (Ephesians 4:1; Col. 1:10; 1 Thess. 2:12, etc.)

This false teaching was rejected in the early 4th century but will resurface often when certain believers take on a hyper-literal reading of certain Biblical proof texts.

The world lies in the power of the evil one (1 John 5:19).

The world wants to lie and cover-up its evils.  The proof of their evils is then covered up and denied.

This is what they're trying to do with the truth of the evidence of early child sacrifice while they indict God of evil.  

The Bible is SO TRUE how it depicts the human heart that strays from God:

"But he who sins against me does violence to his own soul; All those who hate me love death" --- Proverbs 8:36 

 Today it's no different.  Those who will be for sacrificing their children in our modern-day child sacrificing rituals for convenience make excuses to do it and defend it.    But one day, they'll deny that they were for it and continue turning to The God of Heaven to blaspheme His mighty name.

Lord willing, I'll be posting a response video to this brother who once again, in his ignorance is misrepresenting the character of all reformed believers, and the understanding of the doctrines of grace. There's so much false teaching out there and so much that inevitably needs to be challenged IN LOVE (within the body of faith), and we're FORCED to respond to it --- OR allow more and more ignorance to permeate.  As much as I don't want to continue this tug-a-war, it sometimes has to be done.  The rules of engagement, however, must be LOVE and HONESTY.

There are those who need to alter the proper scholarship and historical narrative of scripture in order to make their case against God. At the end of it all, it's about truth and those who commit to this dishonest scholarship end up with that light of truth shining on them which identifies their ignorance, bad motives and false presuppositions.

Truly there is a distracting delusion upon people today.

Hebrews 10:25 encourages us not to forsake the assembling especially "as you see the day approaching".   How can we discern the day approaching?  Christ rebuked the religious leaders of His day because they couldn't tell the "signs of the times".

Could that be us today?  I believe so.   Those of us who consider ourselves religious but can't tell the signs of the times we're in today.  And yet, no one can argue against the fact that we're in unprecedented times.

We are the live as though The Lord can come at any moment.

That's a line from a Jim Carrey movie that I love.

But there's an even more hilarious line I've come across that says that I have slandered the guy in that video who OPENLY and FREELY made the statement that there's NO problem with pedophile fantasies!  Yep, the video is there for all to watch and see for themselves. But afterwards, many other so-called atheists have falsely accused me of slander when in fact all I did was disagree with his statement and call all evil thoughts SIN (as per Matthew 9:9; 15:19; James 2:4; chapt. 4; Mark 7:21; Colossians 1:21; Isaiah 59:7; Genesis 6:5; Jeremiah 4:14; Exe.38:10; Proverbs 15:26; Deut.19:19; etc., etc., etc....).

ITS EVERYWHERE IN SCRIPTURE!!!

And yet they continue to contend that evil thoughts like these are not sin, therefore acceptable in their dishonesty. 

Dishonesty because even after doubling down on this horrendous statement, they feel attacked by the weight of the absurdity of this statement but want to shift the guilt of making the statement on the one who exposed its absurdity and immorality!  Imagine that!   

That's calling "evil good and good evil"...

Where have we seen that before?

But in so doing, they violate the 9th commandment of God to make matters even worse for themselves. 

But The Word of God states that 

“Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account."

False accusations are also sin. 

I was accused of calling this man evil because of his bad judgements and this ridiculous comment which he clearly double-down on, and no one or anything coerced his responses. (Watch the video)

But we're living in "MEETOO" times, and some people wish to have a false accusation stick instead of the truth.  And that's why an honest look at the video will show clearly what was said. 

But The Lord called out the sin of evil thoughts and false accusations from the very start.  

I actually don't believe anyone can argue that pedophile or homicidal fantasies  are acceptable at any time and these folks only argue for that absurdity because otherwise they would have to argue for intrinsically objective morality which would expose their necessity for that un-relativistic grounding in morality.  

And you can only do that in arguing for God as the One who establishes objective moral standards. 

I'm sure they wouldn't hire a babysitter if they knew the babysitter was struggling with immoral thoughts of any kind but for them, it's better to be DEEPLY wrong about this and make such an absurd moral judgement rather than to admit God is correct and pure on His calling these things SIN. 

FOR THAT they would have to bow the knee to God.... Of which they're not yet ready to do. 

"Happy are you when falsely accused"... 

Because "Who can bring a charge to God's elect?".

Answer: NOBODY!

Humanism and Transhumanism

 

This is an interesting round table conversation on humanism and transhumanism.  What I like is that it bridges the minds and perspectives of different people's focus.  You get to see the wheels turning into people's thinking and mentality, and how they derive at certain perspectives.  Watch the video and analyze this for yourselves. 

The secularist rejects the notion of eternity or eternal life b/c we see a lifespan w/in the universe (a time of a beginning and a breaking down).  

-They of coarse, don't realize that God is OUTSIDE of time and our souls belong to God. The Spiritual world has a reality outside of the bounds of time.  We see this in scripture.

-A new heavens and a new earth are mentioned in the text of scripture.  "The former things will pass away".

-A "post human era" is spoken about a lot in this culture, and what is meant by this phrase?

No longer needing to be dependent on the lifespan that we have (given to us) and the course of human trajectory. 

They want to control life: birth and death. They want to expand lifespan and control lifespan.

-Crispr (technology)

-Gene editing and manipulation

-We're in a Transhuman era: A mix between human and machine (computers) transition into a "better and more humane" era for humanity.  Gene manipulation.  Not allowing the limitations of our genetic makeup.

-Cryonics (suspension) a procedure unlike freezing human bodies this is a different method of preserving the body.

It's said that bodies are no longer alive but aren't dead either??.... what Frankenstein craziness is this???

-Long term memory does exist in animals after being "suspended" in Cryonics method.

-Cryonics is said to have brought back to life extinct animals (?)

-Cryonics seems to be a holding method (waiting for the technology to advance) in order to "bring you back to life" (?)

-More than $40,000 to freeze yourself (or suspend your body by this Cryonics method)... Covered by certain life insurance. 

-They want a human that is more intuitive, less aggressive, less greedy, less synical, less untrusting...? ....  Not only to extend your life but to build a "better you" - physically as well as mentally.

-Notice how the lady responds to the dude w/ the hat who suggests that instead of dealing w/ longer life and the expense of these things as it'll mainly be a thing for the rich, stating we should be concentrating more on "starvation", ... immediately, the lady gets triggered.

-The gentleman with the hair had a lot of good points, "Before we're trans-human or post-human, we should learn how to be human.".

-He also says that transhumanism is just another human project b/c we will never transcend humanity.  Awesome and truthful point.

-The subsequent speaker says, "I think it's beautiful to be human"... wow, well said!  Is it no wonder that afterwards he makes reference to God knowing our human sufferings.  

I think if we recognize the narrative of God's creation as seen in holy scripture, we can learn and have confidence for a more rubust understanding of what humanity is.  Something that definitely gets lost in secular humanism. 

He also says that although science is fascinating but it can't have us asking "What kind of human is it worth being?".... More intrinsic questions that lead to self worth ("fundamental to our humanity").

*The very last question she asks the dude (coincidently with the same hair as hers) is "Do you love life..do you want to stop it?"... which I think is the bugged out - bottom line endeavor of these weird elite types:  Searching for the holy grail of eternal life without God.

Does she believe in her mentality that unless you want to live forever, you don't truly love life?

It escapes her what the man was alluding to in that, we should be satisfied w/ the course of our life and end of life.  "I love chocolate but I don't want to eat it every day"....LOL

That's good!

I don't think she's willing to accept that.

And The Lord of all glory says in His Word:

"And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." - John 17:3

Sam Harris says that the "atheist" doesn't need to believe in an after-life but can enjoy life knowing they're star dust:

By that same logic, you can also say that becoming nihilistic is just as much a conclusion of someone's mental state.  so now the question is, how many will find hope in believing they are merely stardust with no intrinsic purpose in life and find ultimate satisfaction in this verses falling into a maladaptive nihilistic mentality which can bring on depression, learned helplessness, and suicidal ideation, etc.  

Human common sense SHOULD answer that for all of us.

Christopher Hitchens has said that the so-called atheist can "do good" also, because they don't need God:

That's actually NOT the important point of this matter.  The point is that while all of us have what we may perceive to be good/bad in us, (By God's grace) the grounding of the WHY anything is good/bad is necessary in order to hold it to a universal standard of which the professed atheist can't do outside of God.

Until they have a solid standard of what is right or wrong, good or evil, they can't make any claims to moral judgments because they'd be operating on a subjective moral standard which shifts and alters. Also, their judgments have no foundation other than the professed atheist's own arbitrary subjective feelings and preferences.

Life without God is absurdity

When there's no fundamental grounding to the meaning of right and wrong, good and evil, etc., those things become arbitrary, and we're left without a standard for these and other things that ground us as human beings.

And we need to make sense of all these things in order to  live together on this earth.

The growing secularist society continues teaching its children that we're simply just a spec of star dust with no transcendent importance but somehow this is supposed to have some sort of romantic appeal in its claim.

The implications are far and wide when one considers that "How one thinks, one behaves".  

Is it no wonder we're seeing the growth of nihilistic attitudes and behavior in morality on the 6 'O'clock news every day?

Those who are hostile to the faith want to use the issue of slavery in the Bible as though it is the Achilles heel against the faith.  But in order to do that, one has to completely side-step, hop-scotch, and fully ignore Biblical culture and history.  This is not a very scholarly or honest approach to study any historical and ancient text.

Also, the question always arises ... Why are there so many Christian denominations out there? Is God not in control of His Church or is He after all, the author of confusion? ...

Alternate reality?

 

There's no such thing as "alternate reality", there's just REALITY.

All of those fantasy videos, cartoons, comics, Marvel, DC, Disney - alternate reality, pseudo-scientific philosophies, scenarios and nuances ... have a toll on the consciousness of a persons thinking and psyche. 

They're not just entertainment.

Especially when it's fed to children's young minds so early in life and while a child's mind is still developing.  They're minds are like sponges, learning and growing, and picking up the nuances of what is right and wrong; how to adjust to reality, consequences, etc.   

Also, they're learning how to understand themselves and others, the norms of relationships and consequences, etc.... 

There's no study we can go to in order to determine these effects.

But do we even need one to know that what we consume will affect us?

Especially when these images and concepts are so pervasive in the culture and within our entertainment.  

The Bible says :

"A student is not above the teacher; but everyone, 

when he has been fully trained, will be like his teacher."

-- Luke 6:40

When the message of the culture teaches by way of continuous and repetitive messaging, communication, and subliminal indoctrination, it is helping form the consciousness of its society. 

The continuous messaging affects the dynamics of a peoples ethics, cultural norms, religion, politics, etc.

And often times, those dynamics are found imbedded within the script of every one of those fantasy-based productions.

Today, more and more we can see social activism imbedded in most of these productions.

One of the consequences of this indoctrination and subliminal messaging is Nihilism.

Today's western world is pushing societies more and more towards Nihilism, the belief in nothing.

But the reality is that often times that "nothing" that is defined there isn't nothing at all but the denial of GOD.  God is that SOMETHING that is imbedded within the definition of Nihilism being called nothing.   

But the truth is that when God is rejected, there's no such thing as believing in nothing.  Instead, one will start believing in many things that are not based in reality.  

A delusional person isn't someone who stops thinking or stops believing in things but someone who starts believing in things that don't conform to reality.  And it is a delusional person that rejects God.

"The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.”

-- Psalm 14:1

This is part of what a secularist world view produces.  This is what our culture has been indoctrinating our society in, from public school to university training on into adulthood.  This is pervasive in our entertainment and many other nuances, and it's dark, very sad, and there are adults walking among us indoctrinated this way. 

This can sometimes produce what I believe is MENTAL ILLNESS. This erratic thinking often times manifests in depression, psychosis, delusions and anxieties.  

Modern psychiatry may not conform to this progression of effects in diagnosing the cause of mental illnesses this way but delusional thinking can often times leads deeper into more pervasive symptoms of mental disorders.  

How much more difficult could it be to help someone who has already been fully indoctrinated into false reality, and now suffering deeper delusional thinking?

Morality?  Where does it come from?

Atheists:

Jean-Paul Sartre - "If God does not exist, everything is permissible".

Bertrand Russel - "Life is meaningless".

If individuals set the rules, then it's "every man for himself" as every man determines what is right or wrong - and you know there won't be a whole lot of consensus because one person's morality won't be another person's morality.

That tends to lead to tyrannical rulership, kingdoms and popery - which most people disagree with ... or it leads to narcissism, nepotism and nihilism.

But if "society rules", then it's the group with the most power that rules which is MOB RULE and how will we know if they'll get morality right?... In fact, we have more than enough to go on in recorded history which shows that MOB RULE never gets it right.   Mob rule always leads to ANARCHY.

No society in human history has every "gotten it right".  So, if morality is a product of evolution, WHEN will we get it right.. WHEN will we finally "get there"?   If humanity has been around for 100k years or more, then what's taking so long?  We're able to build pyramids and roads and even during times of so much advancement where we're almost dancing on Mars, and yet we're STILL NOT THERE???

Unlike the philosophy that says man determines the correct standard, The Bible presents a Godly standard which says that God has spoken, and has determined what is right and wrong; what is perfect and imperfect.  

If we reject that standard, we'll have to present another standard which humanity has never been able to do.
