Answering the dishonest Skeptics

As it turns out, my audio was less than perfect but, the show must go on!

The topic is answering hostile skeptics. While we might be at various stages of our theological understanding, know that there are answers to all questions -- whether they are easy to accept or not.  But God has truly blessed us with His Word.

*I may have to record multiple parts to this topic if I can't get through the whole talk.

Some of the scripture points discussed on this video are the following:

*Handling the skeptics who know what the Christian text teaches and those who know but pretend they don't just to discourage Christians in their faith.

-The sacrifice of Christ on the cross as a copy of Pagan religious practice?

-No repentance needed for salvation?

-Attacks on the atoning work of Christ?

-Ezekiel 33:11; Chapt. 36

-Luke 15:7

-No necessity of dying for the sins of the father?

-Proverbs 16:6 "lovingkindness" the only thing needed for forgiveness of sins?

-Quoting only Jesus' Words?

-Scriptures corrupted?

-1 Timothy 6:16

-The problem of "3 days, 3 nights"?

-The warning of false teachers after the revelation of God (closed canon).

-Mark 8:29

-Acts 17:3

-2 Corinthians 4:4

-Calling Satan a "god"?

-The Bible never claims inspiration?

-Luke Chapt 1

-The purity of God's Word (Psalm 119:89;Isaiah 40:8; Deuteronomy 12:28; Deut. 29:29; Psalm 77:8; Psalm 105:8

Episode 3 on this series. I go over some Bible "difficulties", as they sometimes call them and historical realities behind interpretation and understanding of the Christian scriptures. Let no one fool you via empty lies and philosophy, and traditions of lying skeptics brethren. Be edified and thrive spiritually in Christ, The Lord! Don't forget to share and bless your neighbors with the good news of Christ while it's still called today! ♥️

If you have any particular questions on the scriptures, I might be able to answer them but know that you should be able to find out online as there are many reputable, honest, historical and scholarly sites available.  Remember, the truth is only as good as the source you're utilizing.

God bless you!

Answering the dishonest skeptic

On my next podcast, I want to address how to deal with dishonest skeptics and haters of Christ when we as Christians have to confront them.  Not everyone has a genuine curiosity of scripture or a benign motive for confronting Christians.  Often times, we can avoid hostile interactions but what about brothers and sisters in the Lord who need to learn how to answer for the faith?

Can you defend your faith not just in a loving manner but intellectually and scholarly manner?

Do you know enough about the history of your faith and what's in scripture in order to teach someone who'll ask you for the faith that is in you?

You might not want to make much of the skeptic who's heckling you but what about those who are at ear-shot of this interaction, who also need to know that there actually are answers to many of skeptics unfair accusations of Christianity?

There are not only answers but answers that will strengthen our faith every single day because God has handed down to us, a miraculous written revelation in the scriptures.

Coming Soon!

NEW podcasts: "SLAVERY is GOOD" and "THE ESSENTIALS of the CHRISTIAN FAITH"

Coming soon!  Be sure to find them on Anchor.fm/trunews365 and the STEREO APP podcast

============================

Those who are hostile to the faith want to use the issue of slavery in the Bible as though it is the Achilles heel against the faith.  But in order to do that, one has to completely side-step, hop-scotch, and fully ignore Biblical culture and history.  This is not a very scholarly or honest approach to study any historical and ancient text.

Also, the question always arises ... Why are there so many Christian denominations out there? Is God not in control of His Church or is He after all, the author of confusion? ...

I'll try and answer both these topics in my next podcasts.
