Roman Catholicism: (RUN!)

 The fruit of hundreds of years of scripture twisting, dogma, and of falsehood is APOSTACY.

Today we can see this in their official catechism of their church's heretical doctrines, and in the cultural and leftist sway of their current pope.

The Lord Jesus calls us to be freed from all of that and wants us to come into a personal and real relationship with Him, being SET FREE to come and walk with Him and Him alone in the cool of the day, and to have a personal relationship with God.

Evangelism: What it is and What does it looks like

 The culture and the rise of so many denominations has clouded what Evangelism is and how it is to be applied.  Yet, the best we can do (among believers) is to LOOK to THE BIBLE to define what it is, and how to apply it.

That seems easy enough ... doesn't it??

Unfortunately, not always.

Often times, too many people want to perceive what they think evangelism is and what it looks like by what culture has turned it into, and what their feelings or traditions have maintained.

But God forbid we look to any of that in order to define truth.

Evangelism is the sharing or spreading or heralding or influencing of THE GOOD NEWS OF THE GOSPEL.  

The message of eternal life, redemption, the Kingdom of God, forgiveness from God, etc., etc.

But how is it applied?

In my experience, the ones who criticize the most are the ones who do evangelism the least.   

It becomes an issue of METHODOLOGY but who's to say, one person's method is better than another person's method? ...Regardless, the Good news needs to get out.

Is evangelism letting people see your light and being salt?

Is evangelism heralding the good news of salvation in the public square?

Is it baking cookies for your next door neighbors?

It's all of the above and a whole lot more.  

How can we not give to others the tremendous gift of what God has so freely given to us? ... 

It's eternity and it's not for sale.. It's free!

Hand it down to as many neighbors as you can TODAY in what ever way.

Who wants to be popular??

 

Because we're living in the last days, and the apostacy is so great, people - even those who call themselves by God's name are ignorant concerning truth and true worship of God. They don't truly know their Bibles, and because of this, they have no power over sin, they're not assembling in a local church; they don't have power, joy or love in their lives, and many are only fooling themselves w/ religion.

They don't see the importance of separating themselves from the world and/or don't know how to separate from the world.

I'm constantly mocked about having low numbers of subscribers and followers on my social media outlets but I'm never discouraged.

I've early on determined that this thing I do (which I recently recognized as a Gospel ministry) isn't about ME; it's not about making friends or increasing the numbers of followers, it's about speaking up for truth in a culture where speaking up is discouraged, and soon to be outlawed.

My message isn't one of popularity and prosperity nor even a pleasant message. It's more like a call to sacrifice yourself - which is the double-edged sword of Biblical truth. Christ's call to salvation means NEW BIRTH but only at the cost of DYING TO SELF.


As Americans we're losing our Constitutional rights and even now, many people can't see this happening.

I'm doing my part so that when that time comes, it'll help to at least say, "I knew it!" rather than, "What on earth is going on here?!"....

The latter expression would be too great a regret for me to tolerate!

So I rather be that watchman on the wall in Ezekiel 33 warning people because I see so many asleep and distracted.

That distraction is how Satan operates! Satan and his worldly system puts people to sleep this way and then comes the rude awakening.

Those who name the name of Christ must wake up and mature fast b/c the days are evil, and the Christian walk is that of war... not only for self but for others.

Christian joy is recognized in knowing that Christ has already conquered and because He has conquered, we too will conquer. But it's understanding and believing this WHILE WE'RE IN THE WAR which is never easy.

We need spiritual reinforcements for ourselves and for others and those can only be obtained by much prayer, fasting, and meditation. This is what abiding in Christ is all about.

Who can stand?
Only the person who has built their house on the Rock that is Christ.

Uganda: Christian brother murdered by Muslims

NAIROBI, Kenya, January 11, 2023 (Morning Star News) – A 37-year-old father of four was killed on Jan. 2 after participating in a Christian-Muslim debate in eastern Uganda at which 13 Muslims put their faith in Christ, sources said.

This brother had been converted from the Muslim faith, and dedicated his life to bringing the truth of Christ to other Muslims.  Over 100 of them have converted to Christianity because of this brother's ministry, so this was the result.  

Consider the Word of God:

   10“See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven. 11[“For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost.]

      12“What do you think? If any man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go and search for the one that is straying? 13“If it turns out that he finds it, truly I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine which have not gone astray. 14“So it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones perish. - Matthew 18: 10-14 

This doesn't just apply to his referring to children as the ones brought to Christ for Him to bless but that the character of those in Heaven would be "such as these" (Matthew 19:14) (accepting, innocent, loving, joyful, peaceful, playful, etc.).  This is then compared to any one of these lost as sheep who Heaven rejoices over the others who are not lost. (another parallel: Luke 15:32 the prodigal son)

This brother, Ahamada Mafabi loved SO MUCH, he risked His life for the gospel of Christ.  He had a wife and four children.  He set out to find God's sheep, and found over 100 of them in a years time.  

Why?  Because there's nothing else but Christ that can bring true joy and peace.  When we feed off of the "Bread of life" and we drink from the "fountain of living water", there's no going back!  

The Apostle Peter said, "Where else can we go, you Lord have the words of eternal life!"  

How often don't we dispute and debate in religious circles in our country, here at home, without risk to our lives ... 

But in so many nations around the world, The Lord is bringing in souls CONSTANTLY to Him, in truth - and it's through people like Ahamada Matabi who The Holy Spirit indwells, and in love of the truth, obediently heralds The Gospel of the Kingdom.

"Repent, The Kingdom of Heaven

Let's not be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  For it is the power of God unto salvation for every one who believes (Romans 1:16)

Christian Evangelism: The world hates it!

 Since The Lord Jesus left, He commissioned The faithful to continue proclaiming the Good news to all who could hear, and thus The Gospel of Jesus Christ - The redemptive message of salvation, the power over sin and death has been proclaimed to all nations, and continues to do so.  The god of this world is bound from preventing the Gospel message from going out. Where it reaches, it restores lives but the world can only then threaten and try to stop the spread of the Gospel by force of persecution and death.  Today, there are more than 20 nations recorded as overtly persecuting and murdering God's elect around the world.  But the message is already out - until The Lord's return when He'll restore all things!  That time will be marked by the fullness of the world's hate over God's saints, and a global apostacy in order to fall into a deception ripe for God's final judgement upon the earth.  #maranatha   Revelation Chapt. 20:

"Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;
3 and he threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time

Matt Walsh bombs on marriage!

 

Some time back, I did a commentary on a Jordan Peterson video who now  has joined The Daily Wire with Ben Shapiro and who also bombed on the subject of "Same Sex Fatherhood" in an interview with Dave Rubin.

Matt Walsh did pretty well with his "What is a woman" video but when it comes down to the brass tax of answering the question, "WHY IS MARRIAGE SO IMPORTANT?", he can't come down the the complete truth and definition of marriage.    It's almost like some high profile conservatives want, Christianity without God!  

God who institutes marriage to give Him glory on the earth, has less and less representation of it on the earth it seems.  Even among those who want to defend marriage, they want to do it via pragmatism, and themselves fall into the problem that we see with the world when they end up with arbitrary opinions of why marriage is even an institution, and not just "a thing people do".  

This is only a snippet of how bad Walsh did on the Joe Rogan podcast.  I couldn't bare to post the whole thing.

Christians need to remember that these conservative talking heads can be just as clueless and willingly clueless as the rest of the secular world around us.

The issue of Marriage is not just important to humanity, it's immensely important with physical and spiritual significance in human reality.

Liberalism entering unawares!

 

What happens when you have to stand on the unadulterated truth of scripture without compromise but are expected to speak to the question of religious trauma?  ... This is the situation we often have to confront in the world among some who left the church and are no longer Christians. 

On this talk, I'm reflecting on this same issue and how often times, those who call themselves former Christians, have left the faith because of religious traumatic experiences. They may expect YOU as a Christian to respond to their claims of trauma and want to see how you'll defend your faith in light of it.  

Liberal Christians will often times compromise on scriptural truth in order to appease the intensity of the moment just to save face, while the Christian who's devoted to God's Word, will not.

Liberalism entering unawares!

Jesus said, "Look up, your redemption is coming"!

What did He mean by that?  There are those who (for some odd reason) hate talking about a Pre-Tribulation rapture of the church.  It's become very trendy (and you know Christians love their trends) to argue against a Pre-Trib. Rapture!   :)

But The Lord, in Scripture, gives us a language of expectation.  He wanted us to be on the look out for Him while we go about doing our Father's work.  He said we should be observing the times.     

But many will say, "Why didn't He come in the first century or during WW2... many people at that time thought it was the end time too"!  

Absolutely, but the Bible also states, "We're closer now than when we first believed".  

I don't believe The Lord wanted us to be  UN- EXPECTANT or indifferent concerning His coming.    In fact, it's impossible to be indifferent with what we're seeing today going on in the world.    The progression of evil, pain and suffering is for OUR LIFETIME, supposed to lead us to acknowledge the hope that we live for.    I believe THIS is the language of the scriptures.    Not to set dates.... but to stand firm, and "..LOVE HIS APPEARING".  

Not to have that or walk in that perspective is to diminish ones hope that He placed upon our hearts to begin with.  I believe it comes with the territory of knowing Christ in ones life.    

So while evangelicals might be still embarrassed about those "left behind" movies,  we shouldn't be embarrassed about The Lord's instruction to keep watch for His coming.  I believe, there are a few parables that lead us in that direction also.  

The darker it gets out there, the brighter it should be in our hearts. 

I once thought to myself that there are about 3 distinct and generalized signs of the last days that The Lord gave us, and in which we should be observing before His appearing:    

#1- The persecution of true believers
#2- Cataclysmic changes in/on and around the earth
#3- Deception of all sorts:  Religions, doctrine, false teaching, false Christianity, etc. 

All of that has been manifesting more and more every day.   Our children no longer know The Lord, and there's no fear of God in their hearts.   And that is the evidence of God's judgment upon us.   Now all there's left is to pray for our nation, for mercy from Heaven, and say, God's will be done.    And with that, carry on with our mission to continue evangelizing and sharing the Gospel of hope of God's salvation, and of His appearing.
