The face of the social "gospel".

I had to post this as an example of what's being called "Christianity" from the woke out there.
As far as The Word of God is concerned, it's just a contribution to the perverting of the Gospel of Christ, and the message that continues under attack by Satan himself -- from all angles.   The "Broke" Woke, can consider themselves enemies of God's Truth as they spread their falsehoods of Christ and God will not hold them guiltless.   I pray that God will turn their hearts around before it's too late for them.

Should We Regulate Homeschooling?

The NPR podcast title is "How should we regulate Homeschooling"?  ... And there's so much wrong with that title.

It demonstrates what Conservatives and Constitutionalists everywhere have called attention to regarding government control.

Outrageously, the podcast was from the very start, shining a negative or should I say, a treacherous light on Homeschooling.  The podcast begins with a shaky-voiced mother who gives her experience as a Home-school mom.  She tells of a traumatizing story of being brought up in a fundamentalist religious background where her parents home-schooled her, and led her to believe that public school was such a terrible thing.  The podcast leans deep and hard against the rights and privacy of parents to home-school their own children, and the movement to start shedding negativity against parental rights and home-schooling is on the move.  This is how it starts, via negative propaganda.   "Big Brother" is still around, and he's alive and well!

Despite all evidence on how home-schooling overly benefits our children's intellectual needs over our failing government schools, still, the move to point to atrocities of individual cases, are being put upfront in the media to scare the public against Homeschooling.

Government is seeing the growing trend of Homeschooling, and they're moving against it.  Power-hungry tyrants own this playbook, and they've used it over and over again in history.

Politics from the Pulpit -

Should Christians get involved in politics and if we do, what should it look like?

It's a fine line and can get pretty complicated.  If we as Christians get involved in politics we must bring God's Word into a political platform. If we do, will we be able to properly fit into our current left or right political platforms?

Beware of those who state that this can be easily done or that God's Word, the Bible can fit easily into any political platform we have now in the US.

While it's a shame not to have ANY political voice today and stay away from anything going on in the culture, it's just as bad to try and force the Word of God into our current Democratic or Republican political platform which by and large, is a man-made pragmatic and moralistic creation.

Look out for my podcast coming soon, where I'll try and tackle this subject.  Hopefully, I'll drag this subject back out for someone out there and get us to continue talking about it.

Coronavirus mania -

With all that's being said about this new pandemic, it's clear that on the one hand, there is reason to have concern and take precaution, and on the other hand, there is unproductive and looping coverage in the media -- and panic has set in around the country.

But for Christians, as always, there is a perspective that needs to be well thought out and as always, it must come from a well grounded understanding of God's Word.

How should Christians think and deal with this new threat among us?  How should we represent ourselves and what should be our message to all our neighbors in this predicament?

Look out for my next podcast where I'll get into this as best I can from a Biblical perspective.

Coronavirus: Prayer Pence photo

Mike Pence prays during a meeting with the US Coronavirus Taskforce.

Notice how every time prayer is featured by public officials or anyone who has any kind of platform to high degree, it is highly criticized by secularists.

They came out to criticize and mock VP, Mike Pence for this session of prayer among his US Coronavirus task force.

One person tweeted:  "Mike Pence and his Coronavirus emergency team praying for a solution.  We are so screwed".

Truth is, if we don't have Christ as our Lord and Savior, we truly are.

To fear or not to fear God?

Is it wrong to fear God?  Isn't that just Old Testament teaching? Fearing is negative, isn't it?
Lets look at it in a Biblical and practical, every day way, and see if we can better understand how we are to consider this MAJOR and most essential Biblical doctrine.

Slavery and Christianity: A conversation we can have.

We can talk slavery.  Because we're aware of what it truly is in scripture and we don't hide from history.  When a Christian talks about slavery, she/he does not not need to be intimidated by historical shadows of the past because God is a redeeming God -- for the murderer, the liar, for all people who come and are washed and sanctified in Him.
