Answering the dishonest Skeptics
As it turns out, my audio was less than perfect but, the show must go on!
The topic is answering hostile skeptics. While we might be at various stages of our theological understanding, know that there are answers to all questions -- whether they are easy to accept or not. But God has truly blessed us with His Word.
*I may have to record multiple parts to this topic if I can't get through the whole talk.
Some of the scripture points discussed on this video are the following:
*Handling the skeptics who know what the Christian text teaches and those who know but pretend they don't just to discourage Christians in their faith.
-The sacrifice of Christ on the cross as a copy of Pagan religious practice?
-No repentance needed for salvation?
-Attacks on the atoning work of Christ?
-Ezekiel 33:11; Chapt. 36
-Luke 15:7
-No necessity of dying for the sins of the father?
-Proverbs 16:6 "lovingkindness" the only thing needed for forgiveness of sins?
-Quoting only Jesus' Words?
-Scriptures corrupted?
-1 Timothy 6:16
-The problem of "3 days, 3 nights"?
-The warning of false teachers after the revelation of God (closed canon).
-Mark 8:29
-Acts 17:3
-2 Corinthians 4:4
-Calling Satan a "god"?
-The Bible never claims inspiration?
-Luke Chapt 1
-The purity of God's Word (Psalm 119:89;Isaiah 40:8; Deuteronomy 12:28; Deut. 29:29; Psalm 77:8; Psalm 105:8

Genocide in Nigeria!
Our brethren in Nigeria are being slaughtered and the world sits by, does nothing. The hatred of Christ has never stopped.
“The terrorists waylaid innocent and defenseless Christians,” Kwewum said. “These killings and destruction have become daily occurrences – and in several of the communities the terrorist attack, crops in the field are destroyed; houses including Christian worship centers are sometimes set ablaze.”
The masacre continues unabated and the world turns their eyes away from whole families being murdered. Pray for these Christians in Nigeria.
Nigeria led the world in Christians killed for their faith last year (Oct. 1, 2020 to Sept. 30, 2021) at 4,650, up from 3,530 the previous year, according to Open Doors’ 2022 World Watch List report. The number of kidnapped Christians was also highest in Nigeria, at more than 2,500, up from 990 the previous year, according to the WWL report.

The bullying of Christians
Here's an example (link to full article below) of that type of bullying which will continue to increase in this nation unless we push back. Christians, this is what is meant by
"Indeed, all who want to live in a godly way in Christ Jesus will be persecuted."- 2 Timothy 3:12
An Atheist Funeral (parody)
This is sadly hilarious and people actually argue to try and make this make sense. Should we laugh or cry? ... THAT is the 1 Million Dollar question.

Answering Sam Harris / Christopher Hitchens
Sam Harris says that the "atheist" doesn't need to believe in an after-life but can enjoy life knowing they're star dust:
By that same logic, you can also say that becoming nihilistic is just as much a conclusion of someone's mental state. so now the question is, how many will find hope in believing they are merely stardust with no intrinsic purpose in life and find ultimate satisfaction in this verses falling into a maladaptive nihilistic mentality which can bring on depression, learned helplessness, and suicidal ideation, etc.
Human common sense SHOULD answer that for all of us.
_____________
Christopher Hitchens has said that the so-called atheist can "do good" also, because they don't need God:
That's actually NOT the important point of this matter. The point is that while all of us have what we may perceive to be good/bad in us, (By God's grace) the grounding of the WHY anything is good/bad is necessary in order to hold it to a universal standard of which the professed atheist can't do outside of God.
Until they have a solid standard of what is right or wrong, good or evil, they can't make any claims to moral judgments because they'd be operating on a subjective moral standard which shifts and alters. Also, their judgments have no foundation other than the professed atheist's own arbitrary subjective feelings and preferences.
